Service Description

WOMEN ONLY WORKSHOP In this workshop you will learn and practice from an Ayurvedic perspective, the essential tools of self care and love through Vata season, Autumn and Winter. We will begin with a brief introduction to the Vata dosha; what it is and why it's important to understand the characteristics and qualities of Vata. We will move into a gentle yoga flow to make Vata happy and then glide into restorative postures infused with Reiki. Afterwards, you'll be invited to grab a hot mug of tea with some time to integrate your practice through journaling or sitting in silent meditation. We will then get a little juicy through applying Abhyanga, a warm self oil massage, guided by Jennifer. We will end with a mug of golden milk and a fireside chat (weather permitting) to seal your special day of love and care. Things to bring: *** Your own yoga mat *** A large blanket or towel that you don't mind getting a little oily *** A journal, pen or pencil *** Water bottle You may consider bringing or wearing a bathing suit or something that allows you to expose as much skin as you are comfortable with to apply oil through self massage. Please feel free to bring a change of clothes. We provide the oil with all the necessary equipment for warming it along with teas and milks. Class size is small as it is an intimate setting.
