Adaptogen-Spiced Oats
Creamy oats simmered with milk, cardamom, cinnamon, ashwagandha and shatavari create a warm, grounding start to the day. This nourishing bowl pairs traditional rasayana herbs with fiber-rich oats, raisins and pumpkin seeds, making it especially welcome during cooler seasons or times of depletion.

JenZen Note:
This is more than an everyday bowl of oatmeal—it is a breakfast I would choose when the body is asking for deeper nourishment and steadier energy. I love finding ways to bring herbs into food, but ashwagandha and shatavari are not one-size-fits-all. Begin with less if they are new to you, and work with a qualified practitioner if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or managing a health condition. If using honey, allow the oats to cool until comfortably warm before stirring it in.
