Reiki Healing

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle yet powerful form of energy healing that works on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words: Rei, meaning universal, and Ki, meaning life force energy. This universal life force flows through all living beings and is essential to our vitality, balance, and overall well-being.

When life becomes overwhelming—through stress, trauma, illness, emotional strain, or simply moving too fast—our energy can become depleted or stagnant. Reiki supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance by encouraging energy to flow freely again. Rather than “doing” something to the body, Reiki creates the conditions for the body and nervous system to soften, reset, and heal from within.

  • Gentle energetic support to promote deep rest and nervous system regulation.

What to Expect in a Reiki Session

Reiki sessions are deeply restful and nurturing. Each session is guided by your unique needs in the moment.

You will rest comfortably, fully clothed, on a massage table in a quiet, supportive space. I will move gently around the table, placing my hands lightly on or just above the body, allowing Reiki energy to flow where it is most needed. Many people experience a profound sense of relaxation, warmth, gentle sensations, emotional release, or a quiet stillness of the mind.

Reiki often supports:

  • Nervous system regulation and deep relaxation

  • Stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm

  • Physical tension or fatigue

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Life transitions, grief, or periods of change

  • A deeper sense of grounding, clarity, and inner peace

Each session is unique. Some clients feel immediate shifts, while others notice subtle changes unfolding over time.

Session Length

Reiki sessions are 60 minutes, allowing time for the body to settle, receive, and integrate the work. Sessions may include a brief check-in beforehand and space afterward to gently transition back into your day.
