Mineral-Rich Food

Mineral-rich foods provide calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, and other elements used throughout the body. Ayurveda pairs mineral nourishment with balanced agni so the tissues can receive what the food offers.

Minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and zinc support bones, blood, muscles, nerves, fluid balance, enzymes, and many other functions. Vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains, dairy, seafood, and other whole foods contribute different mineral profiles.

Ayurveda reminds us that nutrient content and assimilation are not identical. Balanced agni, thoughtful preparation, and a varied diet help the body receive what food provides. Soaking and cooking can improve tolerance for some mineral-rich foods. Suspected deficiency, anemia, kidney disease, or supplement use requires individualized guidance because excess minerals can also cause harm.
