Satiety Support
Satiety-supportive meals combine protein, fiber, beneficial fats, sufficient energy, and satisfying flavor to help fullness last. Ayurveda also considers taste, digestion, rhythm, attention, and whether the meal truly nourishes.
Satiety is the sense of satisfaction that helps carry us comfortably between meals. Protein, fiber, beneficial fats, volume from whole foods, and enough total energy generally make a meal more sustaining.
Ayurveda also considers the six tastes, meal rhythm, attention, emotional state, and agni. A meal can be physically large yet leave something missing if it is overly restricted or lacks nourishment and pleasure. Satiety support is not about suppressing appetite. Persistent extreme hunger, loss of appetite, or major unexplained weight change deserves medical attention.
