Service Description

A deeply nourishing Ayurvedic body therapy designed to calm the nervous system, ground the body, and restore balance through warm herbal oils, intentional touch, and personalized care. Rooted in the traditional practice of Abhyanga, each session is intuitively tailored to your unique needs and season of life. Treatments may incorporate a blend of nourishing Abhyanga, invigorating Vishesh-inspired techniques, marma point therapy, scalp or facial massage, seasonal herbal oils, gentle Ayurvedic guidance, and grounding restorative practices to support the body, mind, and spirit as a whole. This is not rushed or routine bodywork. Sessions are intentionally unhurried, allowing space for nervous system regulation, assessment, softening, and integration. Especially supportive during times of stress, transition, depletion, burnout, dryness, anxiety, overwhelm, inflammation, fatigue, and seasonal imbalance, Seasonal Ayurvedic Body Therapy invites the body into a state of deep rest, nourishment, and repair. More than a treatment, this is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and receive care in a quiet healing space designed to support your whole being. Through gentle movements, this treatment encourages tissue relaxation and the expulsion of unwanted impurities (referred to as ama) from the blood, lymph, and other bodily tissues. Ultimately, it aims to foster wellness, harmony, and balance within the individual, catering to any dosha or constitution, but particularly beneficial for Vata imbalances, typical during the fall and winter seasons. Distinguished from conventional massage, this approach targets specific doshic imbalances and facilitates the proper flow of bodily fluids, including blood and lymph. By nurturing the dhatus (tissues), it fosters healing and equilibrium across the realms of mind, body, spirit, and senses. These treatments, known as Rasayana in Ayurveda, offer personalized nourishment tailored to individual needs, whether seeking deep tranquility or revitalizing energy.
