Service Description

The traditional Ayurvedic oil treatment involves the gentle application of warm oil onto the body, employing subtle pressure and motions aimed at facilitating the oil's absorption into the skin and deeper tissues. Emphasizing areas prone to dryness and undernourishment, such as the joints, this practice promotes a sense of calmness and grounding for both body and mind. Through gentle movements, this treatment encourages tissue relaxation and the expulsion of unwanted impurities (referred to as ama) from the blood, lymph, and other bodily tissues. Ultimately, it aims to foster wellness, harmony, and balance within the individual, catering to any dosha or constitution, but particularly beneficial for Vata imbalances, typical during the fall and winter seasons. Distinguished from conventional massage, this approach targets specific doshic imbalances and facilitates the proper flow of bodily fluids, including blood and lymph. By nurturing the dhatus (tissues), it fosters healing and equilibrium across the realms of mind, body, spirit, and senses. These treatments, known as Rasayana in Ayurveda, offer personalized nourishment tailored to individual needs, whether seeking deep tranquility or revitalizing energy.
