Sunday's 1-3pm, starting January 1, 2023! This course will empower you to take control of your health and wellness based on your unique self and specific set of circumstances through the principles & practices of Ayurveda. Ayurveda, the Science of Life, is an ancient holistic health care system that is still the largest practiced in the world today. It approaches health on the understanding that we are unique individuals. You will learn: •Your mind body constitution, dosha(s). •Lifestyle & diet recommendations for you. •Understand your imbalances, the root cause, & how to bring back balance. •Daily routines & seasonal shifts to maintain balance throughout the year. •Improper & proper food combinations. •How to create a balanced meal for you & your family. •Ayurveda’s perspective on cleansing & weight loss. We will discuss health issues such as IBS, Crohn’s disease, hypo and hyperthyroidism, obesity, diabetes, eczema, psoriasis, anxiety, depression, pre-natal and post-partum care, and menstrual disorders. Topics could vary depending on the needs of the participants.
