It’s my favorite day of the week. It’s a day that I set aside as I prepare to pick up my CSA share for 22 weeks of the year. So that means clean out and rearrange the refrigerator. It’s also when I start planning my meals and preparing certain foods for the week. This may not sound like great fun but it is for me. I love to cook and create simple, healthy and delicious meals. In order to do this, it’s critical for me to have a clean and organized fridge.
Often making ghee is on my list, one of my favorite things to talk about, eat, and put on my skin. Ghee is clarified butter. Ghee is revered as one of the most precious oils in Ayurveda. It builds healthy ojas, healthy tissue in the body. It gives us physical and mental strength and provides stability.
